The Thanksgiving Experience. Zürich.

The Thanksgiving Experience. Zürich.

Short Overview

Why We’re Doing This

It started with Thanksgiving at home.
Lindsay, Yanapi’s American wife brought the tradition, and somewhere between the cooking, the noise, and the empty bottles, the idea stuck.

Thanksgiving isn’t really about the turkey.
It’s about taking a moment to slow down, to cook for people you care about, and to sit long after the plates are cleared.

So we built our own version — a Swiss Thanksgiving.
Seasonal, regional, a little wild, and shared the way it’s meant to be.

Two weekends: 21.–23. November and
28.–30. November.
Evenings only. Come hungry, leave late.

Date

Zollikerberg, Zürich.
A cozy, honest space made for good food and good company. Nothing fancy, just the right atmosphere.

Location

Five courses sharing menu. Thanksgiving taken apart and rebuilt from Swiss soil.
Seasonal, local, a little wild.
Vegetarian option available.

Food

Five courses inspired by the Thanksgiving table.
No replicas, no nostalgia traps. Just bold, honest cooking made entirely from regional and seasonal ingredients.

There will be roots and herbs, smoke and sweetness, crunch and velvet.
Dishes that nod to the classics but speak their own language.
A broth that hums of truffle and forest floor.
A bird treated with the respect it deserves.
And endings that taste like November.

Our chefs have cooked in some of Zürich’s most respected kitchens, including Gül.
Now they’re cooking what they actually want to eat.

DATE

Wine is personal here.
One of us collects, hunts, and pours with obsession.

What’s on the list will stay a surprise for now, but expect bottles that make wine people smile and others curious.
Classics, oddities, and a few things you don’t usually find by the glass.

Show me the wine nerd or I’m convinced now, let me book

WINE

We’re hosting our dinner at Alte Laterne in Zollikerberg.
A place with history and heart, where the walls have already seen a few good nights.

It’s gutbürgerlich in the best way. Familiar, welcoming, quietly confident. The kind of space that feels right as soon as you walk in.

And yes, we’ll bring the good vibes. You just book.

LOCATION

Three guys who like to think they run Zürich’s food scene.
They don’t. But for two weekends, they just might.
